  • The second, current modification supports switching between the push-button-only mode and the simultaneous beacon and push-button modes. By default, the push-button-only mode is set. Production is expected to start in spring-summer 2023.

All the necessary information on how to work with U-PROX TAG can be found in the firmware archive on the Downloads – Programs and Manuals page of our website.

See the archive for a general description of the content and recommendations – the file “ReadMe.txt“, as well as the document “U-Prox TAG – operation logic.pdf” in the root of the archive directory “FirmwareReaders”;

and documents for older firmware versions are in the directory “FirmwareReaders\U-Prox ver.2.xx\TAG\” – “Operation_logic_TAG.pdf”.

Operation of U-PROX TAG with readers:

  • SL v2 and SE, version 30.xx
    • Turn on Tag mode in the ID reader settings.
  • SL v1, version 30.xx
    • Download firmware 40.xx from the catalog
    • FirmwareReaders\U-Prox ver.30.xx\TAG 40.xx\.
    • After the update, the reader will support TAG, but will not recognize ASK/FSK identifiers.
  • SL v1, version 2.xx, as well as U-PROX mini BLE or U-PROX mini MF
    • Download the firmware from the catalog
    • FirmwareReaders\U-Prox ver.2.xx\TAG\.
    • TAGs will work, but ASK/FSK identifiers will not be read.
  • SL maxi (v1), version 30.xx
    • This series does not support TAG, and it is not possible to downgrade the firmware to 2.xx/22.xx.
    • To work with U-PROX TAG, use SL maxi (v2) 30.xx or later.
