The most common reasons a device cannot be added to your account are:
- The device is already added/activated under another U-Prox account.
In this case, you’ll need to identify the user who activated it and ask them to remove the device from their account.
- More than 10 minutes have passed since the device was powered on.
U-Prox equipment is discoverable for pairing only during the first 10 minutes after power-up. After that window closes, you must power-cycle the device and then attempt to add it again.
- The device is offline (the “U-Prox” LED on the front panel is solid red).
Ensure the device has power and, depending on its model, is connected to the Internet.
