Not only a reliable reader, but also an elegant interior design element

Introducing U-PROX SE Slim – a stylish and reliable access control reader that uses a unique design solution – a tempered glass panel. This is the glass you see every day on smartphone screens.

Not only a reliable reader, but also an elegant interior design element

The U-PROX engineers have chosen this material for good reason: it is resistant to mechanical damage, does not crack under moderate impact and retains its perfect appearance for a long time.

The tempered glass of U-PROX SE Slim is characterized by exceptional scratch protection. No matter if the reader surface is subject to frequent touch and friction or aggressive environmental influences, the glass will retain its transparency and smoothness due to its strong structure.

Therefore, by choosing U-PROX SE Slim, you get not only a reliable reader for access control, but also an elegant design element that immediately attracts attention. The stylish tempered glass gives the device a premium look and guarantees a long life even in the most demanding environments.

How to get a secure ACS? Modern technologies of Mifare cards

Are you sure that your office access control system uses truly copy-protected IDs?

In conventional identifiers (such as Em-Marine), the code is open and easy to copy, since there is no encryption. This makes them vulnerable to cloning, which is critical for ACS security. Mifare Classic cards also have critical vulnerabilities and backdoors from unscrupulous manufacturers, which makes it easy to hack such cards and copy data from the encrypted internal memory.

How to get a secure ACS? Modern technologies of Mifare cards

An alternative is Mifare Plus and Mifare DESFire, which operate at 13.56 MHz and have internal memory with duplication protection. Mifare Plus cards in SL3 or Mifare DESFire mode use strong AES encryption, so it is currently impossible to copy their data without knowing the encryption password.

Readers that are configured to work with encrypted Mifare Plus and Mifare DESFire will only “recognize” authorized cards. The user data stored in a separate encrypted memory area is used as an identifier.

To issue (encrypt) secure cards, our engineers recommend using a special U-PROX Desktop reader and the U-PROX Config smartphone application. The same Mifare parameters are configured and saved in the U-PROX Desktop and U-PROX SL/U-PROX SE series readers. Then, using U-PROX Desktop, the cards are encrypted and their new identifiers are entered into the ACS.

The configured readers of the U-PROX SL/U-PROX SE series will read only encrypted Mifare cards with your unique password and support smartphones as electronic passes, and the access control system will work exclusively with secure identifiers.

Don’t put off until tomorrow what will help protect your business today. Contact us for a consultation on Mifare card technology for your access control system.

Time to move to the cloud: with ACS Cloud, security becomes a service

Tired of constant upgrades of local servers and excessive costs for maintaining your access control infrastructure? Cloud-based access control systems offer a radically different approach: flexible scalability without additional capital investments, round-the-clock access to real-time data, and maximum security thanks to modern encryption methods.

Time to move to the cloud: with ACS Cloud, security becomes a service

Who was ACS Cloud created for?

ACS Cloud by U-PROX is aimed at medium and large businesses (residential complexes, factories, warehouses, supermarket chains) that need centralized access control at several sites simultaneously. Due to its flexibility, this system is also suitable for smaller companies that want to improve security without the significant costs of deploying their own IT infrastructure.

ACS Cloud allows you to centrally manage all entry and exit points, set up individual access rights, and monitor the real state of the facility online. You no longer need to invest in additional servers or deploy a complex IT infrastructure: all data is processed in the cloud, which simplifies scaling and reduces operating costs.

With ACS Cloud, you’ll be able to respond quickly to any emergency situation. Just open the user-friendly web interface or mobile application to grant access to a contractor or guest in real time, block a lost electronic pass, or track suspicious movements. Regular software updates are performed automatically and do not interrupt system operation, and multi-level data encryption provides a high level of protection against cyberattacks.

The main functionality of the system

For businesses with multiple branches or production sites, ACS Cloud saves time and resources. All facilities can be controlled from a single dashboard, and users can be grouped by department, project, or external contractor. If you need to add a new location, you can scale up without buying expensive equipment. This is especially true for companies with seasonal or temporary facilities, where it is irrational to spend the budget on stationary access control systems.

Integration with the U-PROX ID mobile application allows you to issue digital passes for employees or visitors. This solves several business problems at once: faster access issuance, no need for physical keys or cards, and convenient tracking of movements. Each action is recorded in reports, so managers can analyze employee traffic and attendance and draw conclusions about optimizing internal processes.

Flexible pricing allows you to choose a package depending on the size of your facilities and the number of users, and easily scale as your business grows. In addition, ongoing technical support and training programs for installers ensure quick implementation and minimal errors in the system’s operation. Add to this the easy integration with other SaaS solutions, and you get a multi-level security ecosystem that works out of the box.

The modern market requires access control systems not only to lock doors, but also to optimize business processes and provide remote control at any time. ACS Cloud meets all these criteria, helping companies become more efficient, secure, and competitive.
